Huff PTA’s 22nd Annual Auction and Party

Hello! I hope all families will be able to join us at this weekend’s party and auction. It’s an annual tradition and a terrific way to spend an evening while helping our school maintain and build upon the special programs that help make a Huff education the best it can be. Proceeds from the auction fund many learning experiences (e.g. field trips, assemblies, special classes) so that we can inspire, prepare, and empower every child.

Trimester 1 Ends Friday: MINIMUM DAY

Can you believe we’re a third of the way through the school year? Trimester 1 ends on Friday, November 1st. It is a minimum day: students will be dismissed at 11:55 a.m. Trimester 1 report cards will be sent home on Friday, November 15.

Be in School; Be on Time

What’s an Excused vs. Not Excused absence?  Illness, doctor’s appointments, bereavement, and certain religious exercises are excused absences.  All other reasons are not considered excused. Good attendance will help your children do well in school and in life, so please help them make good choices.

Operation Gratitude

Too much candy in your house after Halloween? Why not donate your extra candy to Operation Gratitude? Huff is teaming up with the Girl’s Scout to collect and donate extra candy to our men and women in the Armed Services. There will be collection bins outside of the office for a week after Halloween (until Friday, Nov. 8).
