WHAT'S NEW?

EAGLEFEST: Fri. May 17th, 5-8 PM

Our free, end of the year school-wide carnival is back! And we need parents' help to make it happen! Please contact your room parents or president@imaipta.org if you'd like to take on some very simple planning tasks.

TEACHER APPRECIATION WEEK: May 6th to 10th

At Imai, we love to show appreciation for our teachers and staff by sending them a little something each day. Your room parents will be reaching out about the items to bring via Konstella. You can also help restock the teacher lounge with beverages and snacks by dropping off water, sodas, sparkling waters, chips, pretzels, chocolate, cookies, etc. at the front office any time!

YEARBOOK: Last day to order 5/1

Order your copy before it's too late!

AUCTION SIGN-UPS: Open to all

Come join Imai classmates and families in small group settings at events from Apr-May. Check here for party descriptions, dates/times, and costs. Q’s? Contact auction@imaipta.org.

AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAMS: Register for Spring programs

HERE is the current list of After School Enrichment classes. Most Spring sessions begin the last week of March/first week of April.

Join the Konstella → Social Groups → After School Care Needs for real-time updates and quick answers from the parent community.

**All the programs are offered and run independently by third-party vendors. They are NOT endorsed by or affiliated with any parent volunteers, Amy Imai Elementary School or MVWSD.**

NEXT PTA ASSOCIATION MEETING: May 15, 2024, 7-8 PM

Our last meeting of the school year. All are welcome to join.

Be Your Child's Biggest Fan

Joining the Imai Elementary Parent Teacher Association (PTA) is the most direct way you can help every student meet his or her potential. Your membership gives you a voice and a vote in deciding how we direct our efforts and our funds. Your attendance is encouraged (but not mandatory!) at the general meetings where enrichment programs, budgets, and school events are discussed.

By supporting the Imai PTA,

  • You partner with the teachers, principal, and staff to foster a love of life-long learning.

  • You connect with other parents to create a community where families feel valued, respected, and known.

  • You become part of the California State PTA and National PTA, the most powerful children’s advocacy organizations in the country.

Most importantly, by joining the Imai PTA, you show your child that you are committed to their success.

Be connected,
be informed,
be involved!
