Principal’s Message:

Quote of the week

“What the new year brings to you will depend a great deal on what you bring to the new year.”

-Vern McLellan

Arline Siam - Interim Principal

Be in School; Be on Time

What’s an Excused vs. Not Excused absence?  Illness, doctor’s appointments, bereavement, and certain religious exercises are excused absences.  All other reasons are not considered excused. Good attendance will help your children do well in school and in life, so please help them make good choices.

New game room (MUR) will be open on Wednesdays during lunch in the MUR.

Students in grades 1-5 interested in learning how to play a new game or playing with friends are encouraged to attend. Students must  sign up in advance if they want to participate as space is limited. Sign up sheet will be outside my office during recess and will be available weekly. Grades 3-5

Adult volunteers are still needed, please email me if you are interested in volunteering and don’t forget to donate game boards you are no longer using at home to add to our collection.

Events coming up

01/14/20 (6-7PM in the staff room) ELAC Meeting

All parents whose child is an English language learner should attend to learn more about the upcoming assessment students will be taking. This week’s topics will be getting ready to take the ELPAC (English Language Proficiency Assessment for California) and the Master facilities plan/bond presentation
